About Timothy S. A. Viator

About The Provider

Dr. Timothy Allain Viator continues a legacy of exceptional care in family medicine to Iberia Parish residents and surrounding communities. A New Iberia native, Dr. Viator was the valedictorian for Catholic High School class of 1994 and later graduated cum laude from LSU in Baton Rouge. He earned a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

After caring for families in Hawaii and Colorado, Dr. Viator returned home to New Iberia to open a family medicine practice. He became the assistant coroner for Iberia Parish in November 2020 and previously served as Iberia Parish Medical Society president. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Louisiana State Medical Society and Iberia Parish Medical Society, in addition to serving on the boards for Iberia Parish Mosquito Abatement and New Iberia Optimist Club.
