About The Provider

Dr. Richard Pratt, Board Certified pediatrician, is known for providing excellent, compassionate care to Acadiana children. He specializes in concussions, non-operative sports medicine, allergies, asthma, growth and development, ADD/ADHD, and preventative care. Dr. Pratt earned a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans before completing a pediatric internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. He later completed a one-year sports medicine fellowship at Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Residency Program before joining a pediatric practice in Metairie. Dr. Pratt then joined a private practice in Acadiana before opening Sola Pediatrics and joining the growing Lourdes Physician Group network of pediatric providers and specialists. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Acadiana Physicians Network.

    Always love Dr Pratt and how caring and supportive he is not only for the kids but for parents too. He is alway attentive and answers any questions and makes visits fun by playing around and keeping the kids laughing and including them in exams
