Raven Anderson Ferrer, MD, a native of Baton Rouge, La, received her bachelor of science in biochemistry from Loyola University New Orleans. Dr. Ferrer earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine – Shreveport and then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center  in Memphis, at LeBonheur Children's Hospital.

In her free time, Dr. Ferrer enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. James Ferrer, a dermatologist at Our Lady of the Lake, their daughter and their dog, Hector. She also loves traveling, dancing, listening to live music and eating her way through new cities.
