Murli Rao, MD received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He completed his pediatric residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2004. He is a Board Certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He currently resides in Baton Rouge with his wife and 2 daughters Sophia and Giuliana. Dr. Rao says he is a pediatrician because of his desire to help a child become the best possible person they can be.

    Dr. Rao is the best! He was very detailed with treatment plan from diagnosis to treatment for our son's ASD concern. He also provided suggestions to help with our case. I highly recommend him to other parents!
