Muralidhara Devarapalli, MD, a board-certified neonatologist, is part of the skilled, experienced and knowledgeable provider team caring for the area’s smallest patients in the Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As Acadiana’s only Level III Surgical NICU, the unit provides family centered care with access to local pediatric surgery and other subspecialists treating the unique healthcare needs of children born prematurely or with other health issues. Dr. Devarapalli earned a medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, before completing a pediatrics residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and later a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council in India.
