Melissa Eddy-Shelby, MD, a Zachary native has returned home to care for the community she grew up in. Dr. Eddy-Shelby received her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and her master’s degree from Mississippi College. She then obtained her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She completed her pediatric residency at our very own Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Dr. Eddy-Shelby is a Board Certified Pediatrician whose expertise is in providing care from infants to adolescents, with minor to complex illnesses. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
