Marcia Parker is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been a part of the St. Francis family since 1997. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing form Nm1heast Louisiana University. Her experience as an RN was mainly -in PICU. She graduated in 2006 from The University of Texas, Medical Branch_, in Galveston, TX with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is dually certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and as a Pediatric Mental Health-Specialist by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She has been working in the field of Pediatric Neurology since 2009. She enjoys working in the field of pediatric neurology because the patients are so resilient and do not let their illness define them. She enjoys educating family members on common neurological illnesses and being an advocate for children.
