James “Jimmy” Redmond is a physician assistant with the area’s only pediatric orthopedic surgery practice caring for families in the Lafayette and Lake Charles areas. He has extensive experience in diagnosing, treating and managing scoliosis, bone fractures, cerebral palsy and limb deformity. James served as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy before beginning his career as a physician assistant focused on orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in science, physician assistant, from the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, James is a member of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
