Neonatal nurse practitioner Brooke McNeely is part of the skilled, experienced and knowledgeable provider team caring for the area’s smallest patients in the Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As Acadiana’s only Level III Surgical NICU, the unit provides family centered care with access to local pediatric surgery and other subspecialists treating the unique healthcare needs of children born prematurely or with other health issues. After earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, McNeely completed a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She is a member of the Academy of Neonatal Nurses and the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
