Brittany Carrere Hortin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, received her Master of Science in Nursing for Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans. She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse. She has experience in clinic-based nursing as well as hospital-based nursing with both adults and children. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing.
