About Amanda Lavigne Talbot

Dr. Talbot is a native of Houma Louisiana. She completed her medical school training from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. She then trained in pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Children's Hospital of Alabama. She lives in the Zachary area with her husband and three children. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Talbot chose pediatrics because it blended her loves of science and having close relationships with families. She enjoys watching children grow and evolve into young adults, and it is truly a joy putting smiles on the faces of her patients.

    Dr.Talbot always listens, assesses, discusses plan making with parents. She's as age appropriate and friendly with the Littles. We love her.

    We absolutely, unequivocally, love Dr. Amanda Talbot! She is hands down the best! She is knowledgeable, thorough, empathetic, mindful, and personable in every way!! No matter how many patients she has seen throughout the day, she always treats the current patient as the very first patient of the day! Again, we love Dr. Talbot! She's in a league all by herself!!
