Allison M. David, FNP-BC, received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She then completed her masters in the family nurse practitioner program at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Allison is a Board Certified family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years experience and treats children and adults of all ages. Allison became a family nurse practitioner because she enjoys treating and diagnosing a wide variety of illnesses and disease states, feels a sense of joy when helping others, and wanted to have greater autonomy and to grow her career in the medical field.

    My NP is very in tuned to my issues, which, luckily are few. But after a kidney stone incident in 2024, I was able to see how she could help me through a situation that was new to me, and she helped me calm my fears about what came next. She referred me to an excellent urologist so that I could move on to have this issue taken care of. It gave me confidence that if/when such an incident occurred, no matter what the situation, I would be able to count on her to help me get through it.
