About The Provider
Aimee Oldham has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for more than 18 years. She began her career in Indiana, receiving her BSN from Anderson University and her MSN as a family nurse practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University. She moved to Louisiana in 2017 to be closer to her husband’s family and has been with St. Francis since 2019. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in 2020.
In keeping with the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, Aimee believes it is important to care for the whole person, and to involve each individual in health care decisions. Engaging patients in shared decision-making can improve communication and overall health, ensuring both patient and provider are working toward the same goals. Aimee enjoys caring for patients with longstanding health conditions such as diabetes, as well as for patients with acute injuries or illnesses. She regularly performs wellness and women’s health examinations and has been certified to perform DOT-driver examinations. She has experience in occupational medicine and urgent care but is most passionate about family practice. She is grateful to be working with St. Francis in Sterlington, where she lives.
Aimee is married to Trey, a pastor, and they have two sons who attend Sterlington schools. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with her family. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
